Pueblo people have long carved and used stone fetishes in ceremonies. Although the Zuni are best known for these, the carvings of other Pueblo people are equally authentic and collectible. These Cochiti carvings are created of locally found native stones.

Salvador Romero basalt snake offering bowl, 1” high by 5-1/2” long by 4” wide, $245. One of the most unusual of this iconic Salvador creation, this bowl looks as if Salvador excised a petroglyph from the rock.
Salvador Romero sandstone bobcat fetish, 2-1/2” high by 4-1/2” long by 1” wide, $140. Bobcats have a short tail very like the proportion Salvador carved here.
Salvador Romero basalt snake fetish, 3/4” high by 7-1/4” long by 1-1/4” wide, $135. A nice size.
Salvador Romero limestone bear fetish, 2-1/2” high by 5” long by 1-5/8” wide, $180. A larger healing white bear.
